Dynomite Diesel Products Inc, a high performance diesel manufacturing company purchased recently the MF-5 EDM machine from AAEDM company.  To modify existing nozzles for high performance fuel flow, Dynomite uses an Extrude machine.  The process to finish some high flow injectors is extremely expensive, as it could take approximately 2 hours.  Dynomite needed a machine to reduce their manufacturing time and cost and to increase product accuracy and consistency.  With the new AAEDM machine, Dynomite enlarges the existing holes to a well controlled size in only 4 minutes.  Then, the new EDM nozzles are processes by the Extrude machine for another 15 seconds.  The change in the Dynomite's processing time from two hours to less than five minutes reduces dramatically the operation cost and increases greatly the Extrude machine's useful life.  Also, using this new process the final calibration is much faster and more consistent from injector to injector.  It's also important to note that in some instances, to manufacture high flow injectors the Extrude machine has to do a second time round to achieve the final calibration.  With the usage of the MF-5 EDM machine, Dynomite eliminated completely the need for this second step/process.
 
When Lenny Reed, the Dynomite owner was asked about his satisfaction with the MF-5 EDM machine's training and installation, the company's challenges that were solved by the machine, as well as, about the benefits of using the machine to the output, costs, accuracy and to create innovative injectors, this is what Lenny said:
This "tool" (machine) allows me to keep up with ever changing requirements and newer technology by producing high accuracy products that meet and surpass the emission requirements.  Based on this machine my company will be able to produce accurate, repetitive injectors in the future and create innovative products "beyond any imagination".  The time that we spend to produce my products is so much more predictable when using this "tool" (machine) and operation costs are very good, especially when considering that the machine will last 20 years --- and then Lenny said: "this machine accuracy gives me abilities that I never even dreamed off". 

Regarding the training and installation: We were trained at AAEDM's location for five days.  We were extremely lucky to have George training us and because of the Coronavirus we couldn't have George or someone else from AAEDM coming to our location for the machine installation.  It took only one phone call with George and we were able to install the machine ourselves and have it fully operational -- has been running great every day.
